We have two websites for our business: The one you are browsing right now (cetsegroup.com), and a simpler landing page at cetse.org. The discerning reader will note that both sites load fast, respond rapidly, and make very few external connections.
This is because we built out these sites with a dual emphasis on performance and privacy. Both sites are maintained using text editors, in conjunction with the Hugo framework (which speeds along development and maintenance tasks by about 25%), and all crucial content is served first party. The only other domains your web browser connects to when visiting either CETSE site, are as follows:
- cal.com (our scheduling provider)
- simpleanalyticscdn.com (our analytics provider)
- openfreemap.org (the maps provider on our contact page)
No cookies are set when arriving at either of our sites, and — though Simple Analytics is technically an analytics provider — they do things quite differently from Google Analytics and the rest (which is precisely why we chose them). Their platform is one of very few that offers useful insight into site traffic, without revealing the IP addresses of visitors, or tracking you in other ways. Even the map embed on our contact page is based on technology developed by OpenStreetMap and OpenFreeMap, as opposed to Google, or Bing.
In short, when you visit either of our websites, your privacy remains intact. Personally identifiable information is never collected, unless you decide to share your details through our contact form, or scheduling a meeting. Similarly, when you hire CETSE Group to perform any services on your behalf, your data stays between us, and is never shared with other parties, unless you explicitly instruct us to. Privacy is our policy.
